Friends,

This month’s  God wink is a compilation of a few reminders from above to encourage and inspire us.

God chose us before we chose Him.
May we always be seeking quality over quantity.
Our friends will influence us, good or bad.
May we always strive to be selfless and focus more on God and less on us.
Let us talk with God not at Him
God already knows our future as He’s already been there.
If rewards are for all, then they are not rewards.
Leaders live in the invisible and followers live in the visible.
Our time on earth is finite our time in Heaven will be infinite.
Giving is living and living is giving.
Jesus became poor so we can be rich.
May we always replace coincidence with providence.
Sometimes God gets in the way to show us the way.
Our prayers bear fruit for eternity.
When we pray through, God will always come through.
May we always be transformed in Christ never conformed in this world.
We don’t remember the Easy, we always remember the hard.
I’m not sure where I am going, but I know Who does.
When our memories outweigh our dreams we start to die.
We enter our baptism with a cross and we come out with a crown.
Let us always brag on others, not on ourselves.
In the sour there is always some sweet.
We may get knocked down but we always have a choice to get back up.
Our gratitude will always dictate our attitude.
We were all created to be Creators.
May we always remember it is never about us it is always about Him.
We do our best and God will do the rest.
May we always be looking for God winks as they are always around us.

Until next month.

Much love and blessings,

Kingdom Coalition for Kids Leadership Team.

Giving it back to kids boy
Today’s journal is about a kid who could gain accessed to a life-saving heart surgery through GIBTK’s heart program 12 years ago. Thank you to you all for making it possible for him and many others.
Tuan had a heart surgery to cure his ventricular septal defect 12 years ago. He has grown up into a healthy boy without medication intake. At the age of 19 years old, Tuan is now a first-year Graphic Design student at FPT College of Danang. This major is not only his passion, but it also helps him make a little money from some of his designs for a small coffee shop and barbershop. Seeing Tuan growing up healthily and pursuing his dream brings his parents great happiness and pride. To Giving It Back To Kids, we are very happy and honored to be a part of his life journey.
(Tuan now at college)
To date, GIBTK has funded 1,675 life-saving heart surgeries.“We highly appreciate you and thank you for transforming lives”Robert Kalatschan

Can a week really make a difference?

Friends,

This  month’s  God wink is a collection of stories from people who have been directly impacted through the Royal Family Kids Camp Programs.
Can a week really make a difference? Coming all the way from Kenya, wow, where do I start? If you told me 2 months ago that in the near future I would spend a week running around 80° California weather, sleeping in a cabin, no phone, and most importantly being a “big sister” to two ten year old girls, I’d think you’re joking. If you told me that I would start the week off anxious , excited, and scared, but end the week crying as I waved goodbye, I wouldn’t believe you. But that is exactly what happened when I said yes to God and became a first time counsellor at a Royal Family Kids Camp in Vista, California, summer 2022. God brought blessings after blessings my way. It started with much needed rest, learning to drive, then the opportunity to volunteer with RFK came along. I was very hesitant at first when I heard the age range of the kids. See, my virtual students ranged from 13-18, which was within my social comfort zone. Working with kids younger than that is not something that I deemed myself capable of thriving in. Let me tell you that God definitely showed me otherwise. Day one of camp came along, and there I was, meeting my girls for the first time. It was awkward, but as an extrovert, it was also really fun. My prayer going into the week was “God, may you use me during this camp. Show me how to connect with the kids and enable me to love them the way you love me.” From the birthday party, carnival, tea party, hiking, swimming, dressing up, crafts, painting, petting farm animals, archery, to conversations at the dinner table, reading the bible, and singing my girls to sleep, everything about the week was amazing. The picture of about 100 staff, saying yes to God for a week, to pour into the lives of about 30 kids who are in the foster care system is beautiful. As staff, I believe we can all attest that we gained so much more than what we went to give. Everything about the week was spirit filled and full of love. It was one of the hardest, but best experiences of my life so far. When the week came to an end, I felt as though God was saying to me, “I needed you here and you are right where you are supposed to be.” My story is a testimony of God’s goodness. His goodness does not always come in the package that you expected, but it is always just right and on time.  – Neema Joy Mbogo, 2022

Please be praying for all of God’s children, volunteers, and leadership teams that are going to over 250 camps this summer.

Much love and many blessings,

Friends,

Our God Wink this month comes to us from our friends at “Heart for Lebanon “.
Yesterday our academic year 2021/2022 began with 390 students in our H.O.P.E. Educational Program. (Helping Overcome Poverty through Education) 3 times more than our last virtual academic year!   This message from one of our students shows that the care and compassion they are receiving is changing their beliefs; about themselves and their futures. “I’ve learned from you to work as hard as I can and with whatever resources I have. I also learned to depend on the Lord in every step I take. You are doing your best to help us learn new things every day. It’s my duty to work as hard as I can to thank you.”   Now these children have hope; for their present situations and for eternity because they are inviting Jesus into their hearts and seeing Him working in their lives.   Together we are better   TOM ATEMA

We get a bonus Wink this month, so many of us have supported one of our most cherished teammates Lance Wood and his $4.83 book efforts.  Here is his recent update,

By the grace of God, we’ve been on several radio shows, a TV show, and a bunch of Zoom calls, and podcasts. That, plus your help pushed us over the top to become a #1 Amazon Best Seller. We even pushed ahead of Dave Ramsey’s book on money in the Christian Stewardship category! And you were a part of this—thank you!

We are excited to share that we have a newly updated website (https://483.fund/) and we’re trying to get the word out about the movement. Our goal is to impact the lives of 100,000 kids through Christ-centered microfinance by raising $483,000. We’d love for you to partner with us by donating $4.83 and by sharing the message with others!

With joy and gratitude,
Lance and Jenn

Look at what we get to do together what incredible impact we have by working and serving together.

Please enjoy this month’s Wink. Refer to the link below. Thanks Sean and his team at Groundwire for sharing this inspiring story with us.  Please check out more at www.jesuscares.com.

Is our LORD on the MOVE or what? Let’s not miss out on this front row seat. What is GOD calling you to?

Until next month, Love and peace to you ALL. Thanks for being on the journey. Together we are better.

Helping Overcome Poverty with Education

Friends,

Our God wink this month comes from our friend Tom Atema with Heart for Lebanon.
The question is:  can you REALLY change a child in one year?
I was recently at our Heart for Lebanon South H.O.P.E (Helping Overcome Poverty with Education) Center year-end graduation for the afternoon students: 75 boys and girls ages 7-13.
Here’s the deal, these children have NEVER been to school. In fact, on the first day of school, last September, they did not even know how to climb the stairs.  They did not know how to read or write in Arabic never mind English, with zero math skills and no knowledge of Jesus Christ they started their academic journey.
But today, they know how read and write Arabic and English and they know Jesus Christ.
Oh YES – you can change a life in one year.
Here is the link to the video:

What would happen if we did not reach these children? Roughly 1/3 would be involved in human trafficking and child labor. 1/3 would be recruited for radical groups, and 1/3 would be sitting around in their poverty for the rest of their lives.

We are privileged to be rescuing children from poverty.

Dynamic Church Planting International Training Program

Friends,

This month’s  God wink is coming to us from Ghana.  A note from one of our team members that is initiating the Dynamic Church Planting International Training Program with several of their new pastors and community leaders. www.dcpi.org“One of the Coalition’s most utilised resource partners”.

Dear Jim,

Praise God! To God be the glory! We just got home. Our strategy was to dedicate today for prayers. And we did just that. There was a 12 hour heavy down pour of rains throughout Accra that destroyed a lot of property and kept many away from going out. Despite all this, 20 strong Pastors turned up for the Training.

Dr Emmanuel Donkor’s, our Regional Director and his team also experienced similar rains such that they could not move out. So we led the 20 leaders in Exhortation, and dedicated the rest of the time to prayers for the program. We prayed and prayed for its success.

God willing, Dr Emmanuel and his team would arrive the next day to officially start the training which would end on Friday. Thanks for your help and prayers.

Pastor Joshua Tay

What a great way to encourage and inspire Dad’s and Dad’s to be, to be The best Dad they can be. As well as step into the opportunities GOD brings to them to be GAP Fillers for these young men that desperately need Godly Modeling and help them break the cycles they have been modeled of no fault of their own.  What an opportunity we have, please watch this and share it with your networks. God gave these two children a new home

Two children with new home
Friends,

For our  God wink this month  we hear from our friend at Care for Children, Russel Brown.

www.careforchildren.com

The picture of the two little twin girls in Thailand were placed in an orphanage after both of their parents passed away from the virus. CFC was able to place the twins in a local loving home within a couple days. The virus has increased the flow of orphans over the past couple years because of similar situations of other families across Asia.

Friends,

This month’s God Wink comes to us from our friends at “Cañón Buena Vista”.
Cañón Buena Vista is a girls orphanage south of Ensenada in Baja, Mexico. The 37 residents are wards of the state, meaning that they have been removed from their family by the government because of abuse, family drug problems, extreme poverty, abandonment, and many other heartbreaking reasons. The Mexican government does not provide any financial support for children in these licensed, privately run orphanages, they leave the responsibility to sustain life by the good people running the home.

Corazon de Vida has recently started to help this orphanage with funds for food, utilities, staff salaries, and quality of life improvements.

One immediate request by the director was for a vehicle to help transport the children to school, medical trips, and errands. The vehicle they have is barely operational and they were desperate for transportation. Corazon de Vida recently delivered a mini van in good condition to help and as we drove into the home property, we were greeted by a Welcome sign, hugs, smiles, and many blessings. The middle and high school girls were in school, we were greeted by the primary girls only on that day. We are still in search of a large 15 person passenger van for the home and with God’s blessings, we will be able to provide one soon.

We look forward to helping God’s most vulnerable children to give them health, hope, and healing. If you would like to visit Cañón Buena Vista, please contact Corazon de Vida director George Perez at george@corazondevida.org
