Thuong grew up in a poor rural family, where hardship was part of everyday life. She was once too shy to speak, too afraid to even look up when called on in class.
But everything changed when she joined the Dorothea’s Project Legacy supported by Giving It Back To Kids (GIBTK). For the first time, she felt heard. Supported. Encouraged.
