Friends and Kingdom Influencers
What a wonderful evening last week at our monthly Kingdom Coalition for Kids dinner at casa de Bezko!! Thanks again Eric for a wonderful meal and fellowship and Ziva we just love you and your greetings. We kicked things off with an amazing spirit led Prayer and a truly angelic singing of Oceans by our new worship leader Aubree!! What a Start. Below are brief overviews of the team’s updates and for a few intros as this was their first time, there will be a few website links to follow as well.
- We kicked things off with Kevin Davis giving us an update on his recent missions training and retreat in Chille and Columbia and his new role that he is committed to for the next 3 years to help out one of our teammates Agua Viva www.aguaviva.com with their overall operations and increase their short-term missions, which aligns perfectly with our S.cal networks of churches and ministry Partners. Thanks Kevin for helping us kick off our Mexico Region.
- Jim Duggan with www.dcpi.org and www.rfk.org gave us a wonderful update from his team and the recent mission trip to the Philippians with Saddleback Church and the team from Care For Children www.careforchildren.com . Robert and Elizabeth Glover and their 6 amazing kids have been saying yes to their calling from GOD to move to China over 15 years ago and work with the Chinese govt and Christian families to create new loving homes for over 1 MILLION of GOD’s kids and still counting and now the team is working through all of Asia with so many amazing stories please see web-site for current expansions. - Grant Van Cleve, who never stops amazing all of us with his updates from the mission fields that he and his amazing family have been following GOD’s lead for their incredible Kingdom purposed lives, Grant shared with us how his Market place is being utilized for growing GOD’s amazing, wonderful KINGDOM. So awesome Grant!!!!
- Justin Watson one of our newest teammates, shared with us that he is gradating this semester form Biola and will be moving to full time sales at Foundation Resource Partners, one of the nation’s leading Insurance providers. Justin is already working on a few Kingdom Assignments utilizing his Kingdom giftings and callings. Living out the TMP model www.mastersprogram.org way to go Justin cant wait to hear more.
- Cade Anderson a recent Biola and university of Hawaii graduate is also working for Foundation Resource Partners were he is utilizing his Kingdom giftings and callings to serve GOD’s people around the globe and he has a few mission trips coming up!!!
- Our dear friend and mentor to so many of us Jim Hogan is working on setting up a mentoring cohort, writing a new book and growing the audience of www.hogansjourney.com what an inspiration to us ALL and a true Kingdom Influencer and Impactor.
- Scott Henderson who is one of the founding members of this growing coalition for the Kingdom, now he and his team are utilizing the collaborative spirit to connect foster kids around the globe, so many GOD Winks. - Nick Hingros another of our new teammates is modeling for us all how our mission field can and should be wherever we are and portable. As Nick drives people around for Lyft, he is constantly sharing Jesus and hearing and praying for his passengers just like he did for me. Nice work Nick and welcome to the team.
- Aubree Child with Fight Therapy Foundation www.fighttheropyfoundation.org one of our newest team members who is very active and making a huge difference within the coalition, brought her brother Chris. Not only did she inspire us with her amazing singing of oceans (if you haven’t already got this on your worship list you need to) she shared that she is working with Olive Crest www.olivecrest.org to bring her game changing therapy to several of the kids that Olive Crest is serving. What a team!!!
- Chris Ball Aubree’s brother is in the US for some fund development for his mission field with his family in Indonesia, what a story!!! Chris and his family can use some prayer as it has been tough for them being apart. Welcome to the team Chris.
- John Loranz who never seizes to amaze the team has several projects working with Orange County Resue Mission, www.rescuemission.org for more info on their amazing work. Great job John!!!!
- Finally, another great big Thanks to our dear friend, chef, and great connector Erik Bezko who is always connecting and serving for GOD’s Kingdom. If you have not had a chance to learn more about his best half Tera’s amazing ministry Finding Freedom www.findingfreedomint.org you need to as the team is restoring the lives of many thousands of abused women and their children around the globe. Thanks again Eric and Tera for hosting and always making us feel so welcome and full of amazing food and drink and mostly LOVE!!!
