Jim Duggan

Jim’s being laid off, at the beginning of Covid, after a 40-year corporate sales career led to his early retirement plan which resulted in him becoming the Director of Strategic Partnerships for Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI). This adult lifetime walk of doing business as a ministry also allowed Jim to start several para church and church ministries and to lead a missions team at his local church that supported approximately 30 missionaries.  Jim is also still blessed to be the founding director for a local Royal Family Kids Camp / For The Children (RFKC/FTC) chapter, a leader in Kingdom Coalition For Kids (KC4K), and an active member in his church in Mission Viejo, California.

Jim’s joy is seeing the revival that God is producing all over the world.  Jim role of serving denominations, church planting movements and missionary organizations who DCPI partners with to equip church planters keeps him in daily interaction with God’s servants on all the populated continents. This is beautifully enhanced by the amazing partnerships and friends that have been forged with other KC4K members across the globe over the last three years. Jim’s passion is blessed, and his gifting is exercised, when he is involved in collaboration, coordination, and fellowship between the many faceted members of the Body of Christ. Through these churches and ministries, people accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Consequently, the Holy Spirit can transform these individuals, which transform families, which transform communities.

Jim lives in Orange County, CA with his wife of 32 years. Their other great joy is to be with their grandchildren and children who are spread across the US and in Germany.

Through much prayer and past experiences God has put on our heart to serve his children, it has been an awesome experience using our God given talents to serve his children. Through serving with many children ministry partners, it is clear God is on the move in HUGE way and We feel very blessed to be a part of a much bigger plan. To see the child’s transformation through pouring in Christ’s love and words firsthand it has changed the course of our life forever and the best is yet to come.

Starfish on the Beach - Story of the ONE Starfish
Starfish on the beach

“An old man walks along the beach and sees a young boy throwing something into the water. As he approaches, he sees hundreds of starfish lining the beach washed up from the tide. The boy is running around throwing starfish back into the ocean one by one. The old man says why bother it’s pointless what does it matter. There are too many starfish to save them all. As the boy flings a starfish deep into the ocean he says it mattered to that one.”

Ministries, movements, and networks across the world, including the Lausanne Children and Family Network, Pebbles and Stones, 2BC, JC2033, Global Children’s Forum, Kids Pray for Zero, World Shapers, One Hope, GACX, Lord’s Home, Children in Prayer, International Prayer Connect and others, are joining forces and coming together for children and families.

Bringing generations together to experience and expand the kingdom of God.

This collaboration isn’t just for a momentary observance…it is part of a broader, multi-year initiative leading up to 2033 – the 2000th anniversary of the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the commissioning of His disciples…It has the potential to serve as a vibrant platform for empowering children and families to deepen their relationship with God and actively reach out to others. The ultimate goal is to see children and families everywhere flourish, draw closer to God, and fulfill their calling.”(Lausanne Blog)

As part of this collaboration, Pebbles and Stones developed THE Week – an eight-day devotional resource for families to use during Holy Week. It follows the narrative of Matthew, beginning with Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and continuing through His death, burial, and resurrection. The devotional gives families an opportunity to reflect in listening prayer on what God is saying to them through the story, share those reflections, and pray together.

THE Week – A Journey Through
Holy Week

As you go through the Biblical narrative of THE Week, you may want to discuss salvation with your family (becoming God’s child). Here is an example of a salvation prayer:

Father,

This week, I learned about all that Jesus did for me when He died on the cross for my sins – that is, every wrong thing that I ever did or will do, including not believing in Him.

I want to tell you that I am sorry for my sins, and I want to live differently. I believe that Jesus died for me, rose from the grave, and has forgiven me.

I know I will need your help in the future, and I ask you to send your Holy Spirit to guide me.

Thank you.

In Jesus’ name, amen.
