Seth shared with us how Music and Worship changes lives and how our Brain responses to playing and singing as well as listening to it. He and his growing team of music teachers around the Globe are Transforming lives Through MUSIC. They have set up a train the teacher model that is very duplicatable across all cultures and communities. The ministry has partners that are capitalizing the getting the instruments into the kids hands (mostly Ukulele’s) to start. We spoke of utilizing networks that are serving globally and partnering in the same region to get the instruments in the kids hands and instructors set up in the program. Seth spoke of a recent Royal Family Kids camp www.rfk.org were he got to teach the kids at camp how to play the Ukulele and many of them got to take them home. Many of these kiddos suffer from lots of trauma and Seth and team has brought Music playing and Worship to help with this. A form of TBRI (trauma based relational intervention) Seth is utilizing the acronym, TIME Trauma Informed Music Education. Love it!!! Seth is talking to the team at For the Children about utilizing this with all of the over 270 camps worldwide. So Awesome and Holy Spirit led. One of Seth and team’s new branding is Music for JESUS.
