PRAISY: She lost both her parents at the age of 5. A distant relative helped her to study up to the tenth grade and could not help any further. As her guardians could not help her anymore and she had no place to go she came to our campus seeking help. She stayed at our restoration home for a year and completed her Nursing Care Assistant Course. After a year she was able to complete her course and got selected to work at a local hospital through the internship program. She is thankful to God and John Foundation for giving her a beautiful life.
THIRD CAMPUS BECOMES FULLY OPERAITONAL: The third campus became fully operational in this month with skills training institute starting their classes on 02 of June, having our skills training institute graduation for the first time in the third campus on 10th of June and the school becoming operational with 425 students on 12′ of June. Over 200 children, restoration home girls and staffs have already moved into the campus and the campus is bustling with activities. However, we would really appreciate your help and participation in meeting some of the urgent needs at this campus:
- 200 Mattresses for third Phase: $ 15 per mattress × 200 = $ 3000
- 400 Bed Sheets for third phase: $ 3.50 per bed sheet x 300 = $ 1400
- 400 Pillows for third Phase: $ 2.35 per Pillow x 400 = $ 940
- 400 Pillow covers for third phase: $ 1.75 per Pillow cover x 400 = $ $ 700
- Shelves for Asha Departmental Store: $ 41.25 per piece x 60 = $ 2475
KEERTHANA – HER BROTHER COULD NOT EDUCATE HER BEYOND 07TH GRADE: 15 Years ago both her parents died due to some family disputes.
Her older brother was able to educate her till the seventh grade but he could not help her beyond the seventh grade. She could not get a job and really struggled for food and sustaining herself. Our awareness campaign team was able to bring her to our campus where we taught her sewing and today, she works at the local garment factory and is in a position to help her brother as well.
Saji Visit to the US: Saji will be in the US (Texas and Denver area again from 05th to 22nd September. He would be grateful for any opportunity to share about John Foundation Ministries with churches, small groups or individuals.
