Hello Dan, I wanted to give you an update on the last two weeks of ministry for myself (Open Hearts Baja). As you know, I spent a week with Agua Viva one of our partner ministries in Ensenada Mexico. I absolutely fell in love with Agua Viva the staff the job that they’re doing to share who Jesus is and just a variety of different ministries that they are working in within their communities down there. It’s amazing. It’s was so good that I plan on going back for two more weeks and possibly making some sort of a commitment for more in time. I am letting God speak to me and talk to me about how I could be used and partner with Agua Viva in the future.
After that first week with Agua Viva, and watching hundreds and hundreds of young Mexican youth and young adults, come to that camp and many of them ask God to be their Lord and Savior. Then I went down and I did a playground build for Kids Around the World an installation in Ensenada just a little bit south of Ensenada with A team from California called Baja Love And a church team from Minnesota that had proximately 14 people into the group for Minnesota and then seven or eight from Baja Love. We had a wonderful experience installing a beautiful playground at an orphanage that houses about 30 kids and we had a spirit filled time.
God was with us the whole time we had no problems whatsoever. It was just a beautiful installation and beautiful time with people that love God the way we do and One of the best experience I’ve had so far installing a playground. So now I head back down to Agua Viva in a few days.
I will spend some time down there before we install another playground in Tijuana next month and then I will head off to Chile for 5 1/2 months for training, (Foundation’s for Counseling Ministry) I’m listening to God I’m hearing from God and what he wants me to do so I’m hoping that before I even leave for this training that God speaks to me about a plan for when I return.
I wanted to share this with you share some pictures and you can do what you want with it share it with the team members or partners, but I see KC4K in a wonderful partnership with different places down here in Baja and I hope that we can improve that and even grow it so we’re all working together and not working alone but working together to share who Jesus is.
