The Story of the One

“An old man walks along the beach and sees a young boy throwing something into the water. As he approaches, he sees hundreds of starfish lining the beach washed up from the tide. The boy is running around throwing starfish back into the ocean one by one. The old man says why bother it’s pointless what does it matter. There are too many starfish to save them all. As the boy flings a starfish deep into the ocean he says it mattered to that one.”
