| I had successful heart surgery from GIBTK 12 years ago, and now I live a wonderful life! Tra My lived with her family in Da Nang. She had a severe cough and fever, so My’s parents took her to a medical center. She was diagnosed with an atrial septal defect. The doctors recommended that My undergo heart surgery to save her life. However, My’s family faced financial difficulties; they could hardly manage to earn enough money for their daughter’s surgery. |

| Her condition worsened over time. She continued to have severe coughs and fevers. Her family desperately sought emergency help to save their daughter’s life. Then, a miracle happened when Giving It Back To Kids learned about My’s situation in 2012 and sponsored her successful heart surgery. From that moment, her life completely changed. The once frail and frequently ill girl had become beautiful, healthy, and had achieved remarkable success. |

| Currently, Tra My has just finished grade ten at a high school in Da Nang city. In the past academic year, she achieved Fair academic performance, which is a significant effort for Tra My. Her health is currently good; she can participate in outdoor activities and take Physical Education classes at school. |
